Sample mold (original mold: discarded mold)
Based on the prototype data, we create a sample mold (mold for disposal) by computer, using state-of-the-art equipment such as NC cutting machines with 3D-CG data, etc. The sample mold (mold for disposal) is automatically processed by computer control. Regular and precise edges and shapes, which are difficult to achieve with hand quality, can also be expressed.
A prototype mold is made for testing purposes, called a sample mold, and is then filled with plaster made by dissolving ceramic clay in water and molded into a prototype. The actual glaze is then applied and fired to confirm the shape. At this point, if there are any modifications, they are reflected in the mold and the verification process is repeated.
見本型（元型：捨て型）
原型データを基にコンピューターで見本型（捨て型）のデータを作成します。3D-CGデータ等を使用したNC切削機等の最先端の機器を用いてコンピューター制御により自動で石膏を加工し見本型（捨て型）を作ります。ハンドクオリティでは難しい規則的で緻密なエッジや形状も表現可能です。
見本型（捨て型）と呼ぶテスト用の試作型を作り、陶土を水で溶いた泥漿（でいしょう）を流し込み成形し試作します。実際に釉薬をかけて焼成し形の確認をします。この時点で修正等があれば型に反映させて検証を繰り返します。

A case mold is made using the final sample mold that has been corrected and verified. This case mold is used to make a mold for the actual mass production of pottery dough (mold for use).
ケース型
修正と検証を終えた最終的な見本型を用いてケース型を作ります。このケース型を用いて実際に焼物の生地を量産するための型（使用型）を作ります。
